It’s all about the share

I know that many of you who follow us, own a business as well. Here are a few helpful hints with your social marketing.

Social media is fantastic and what makes it even better, is that, for the most part, it’s free!  However success in social media is all about having content that is shareable.  Oh sure, it makes you feel great when you have thousands of “likes”, but for a small business to truly grasp the viral power of social media, you have to have posts that are “share worthy!”

Here are some ways to get more “looks” than “likes” online:

Instagram-don’t shy away from this fast-growing property of Facebook. Great way to sell products and attract an entirely different market than your typical FB crowd.

Pinterest– If you’re smart (and I’m sure you are), than you should be pinning away. Shoppers come to pinterest for party planning, fashion and home decor ideas. Users also like motivational and inspiration pins.

Tumblr-If you can provide quality visual content, then you will gain customers on this site. Shoppers come here mainly for photos and videos.

And lastly…..Video is a great way to market your product…just keep it short, so bye!
