What is it exactly that people WANT? We have tried for over two years, closer to three than not, to figure out how to keep you, the consumer, to keep coming through our doors. So, I finally decided, to simply ASK! Well that was simple wasn’t it?!

Our goal from the beginning was to bring a talented, eclectic group together and make people smile, while giving them a different way to shop local. A monthly “Meet the Maker” type market filled with everything you could think of. Bringing the reuse, recycle and restyle lifestyle to life each month. Finding the perfect mix of  re-purposed with a touch of handmade and a sprinkle of retail, has allowed us to end up with an amazing blend of talent.

It is as important to me that the vendors love SSM as much as the consumers. As we have grown, I desperately try to keep the competition OUT and the comradery IN. We currently have 27 indoor vendors who come together as a collective group each month and proudly market themselves AND each other. When I hear a vendor say, “No, I don’t have that, but I think so and so does…lets head down there and see what we can find.” It truly makes my heart happy. We are in this together. Our customers feel it and it makes a difference. Our mission statement, “We mindfully build our community by lifting each other up in support. Our vibe attracts our tribe and we create a sum that is greater than its parts” embodies what is most important to me at Seaglass. We have so many parts, but if they don’t work together, we fall apart!

Now, don’t get me wrong, we are all there to make money…for some this is their only means of income, and for others this is a 2nd job (and there is nothing part time about it!) Which is why our items are priced to sell, not priced to barter. Everyone loves a deal, but just because we are local vendors does not mean we can just give our product away. We are a fair, honest group, trying to find a happy medium for ourselves and our customers. Our goal is to make a little money while making you happy as a consumer, and to keep you coming back! I promise you that is kept in mind for every item priced by every vendor.

At this point, Seaglass has quite the array of product! We have stayed with our initial idea of Furniture and Home Decor and “fun” DIY/salvage items, with a nice sprinkle of Jewelry, Original Art and Personal Care Items. We have added BoHo Clothing, Usbourne Books, Pepper Jellies, Dry Baked Goods, Pickles, Local Honey and even some produce. Our outdoor vendors are ever changing and we have our own personal POP IN LuLaRoe Lady!

I have covered our VIBE, our PRICES and our VARIETY of items. I truly love our blended family…my question is…do you? What would YOU like to see at SEAGLASS?  We would absolutely LOVE your feedback!

I look forward to hearing from you! You may comment here or feel free to send us an email,!

Thanks all, look forward to seeing you in July!
