Fall Back

September was a busy month for us. As we watched the Lindsay M. Benton Foundation come to a head, months of hard work turned into a day we were so proud to be part of. We honored Lindsay and spent a day celebrating her life, and honoring her legacy. We can never begin to thank the group of people who helped us make the 1st event such a success. I, personally, do want to thank the vendors of Seaglass. Some donated product, others were Sponsors, others spent ALL DAY at Capt’n Bill’s with us either vending or volunteering, and others came as their schedules would allow…whether it be to buy some raffles, cheer on a volleyball team or enjoy some lunch and give us a hug. I have said it before and I will say it again, I am truly blessed with the amazing kind and talented group of people I get to work with. The first annual LMBF Volleyball Tournament was a great success and we thank everyone who made it a point to be part of it, because it couldn’t have been possible with out your amazing generosity and support.

After a lovely vacation with my hubby and the celebration of our 5th year as husband and wife, I have some catching up to do! I am very excited for the October market. We have some moving around going on, some new vendors to introduce and two vendors to say good bye to. Kerri and John have been an amazing addition to SSM and their family has been a pleasure to get to know. We want to wish them well as they travel back to Kansas and resettle in their home town, and we look forward to their visits to Leland, hopefully in the very near future. I will truly miss seeing them and their fabulous talents displayed each month in the Rescued Rubbish space. Sweet and talented Gigi and her fun fabulous finds will also be heading out of town, as Gigi’s One of a Kind heads back to Chicago! Although Gigi’s time with us was short, she will truly be missed and we wish her and her husband well as they too return “home.”

We are excited to have a Witches Brew with Tea Lady Diane on Saturday Oct. 21st, don’t forget to wear BLACK and your best witches hat! Also, as you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and we are looking forward to working with Joy Wade and Going Beyond the Pink, Sunday Oct. 22nd and of course, PINK is the color of the day!

The Little Chef will be feeding us on Friday, Port City Puff N Stuff will be making their Seaglass Debut on Saturday and we close out the weekend with 2 Bro’s Coastal Cuisine on Sunday and, as always, the coffee is free all weekend long!

Mark your calendars for October 20-22! Friday 9-3, Saturday 9-5 & Sunday 12-5! There will be something for everyone with smiles and laughter while you catch up with your Seaglass friends. Shop, Eat and Play the 3rd weekend of every month at Seaglass Salvage Market in Leland…we look forward to seeing you!
