Is Old the NEW New?!

Upcycling and repurposing are “in” not only in a recycling aspect but just because OLD pieces have great stories attached to them, as well as wonderful memories. Old doors, chippy shutters, cake tins, tea cups, even claw foot bathtubs can be found in almost every “HOME” magazine. Turns out, old is the NEW new.

Whether you are looking for a wheel barrow to start your herb garden or a crystal chandelier to hang in your outdoor bathroom you’re not going to find it in a Big Box Store. Local junk stores, consignment shops and flea markets are becoming quite the norm. If you live anywhere in Wilmington, NC you are aware of the many shops where you can find handmade jewelry, hand-painted furniture and great vintage items, Seaglass is trying to bring that type of shopping to Brunswick County.

Local vendors, in a upscale flea market setting, selling their items with a smile, proud of their finds and handmade items. When you come to SSM you are greeted by kind, talented, friendly people who KNOW you can spend your money anywhere, so we appreciate it when you choose to spend it here, but more than that…we love to see you and we enjoy the fun and laughter that come each month at our Markets.

Mark your calendar, tear out the ad in SALT Magazine  (PLEASE NOTE the Friday hours have changed to 9:00-3:00) and put it on your fridge or join our email list for a friendly monthly reminder…do what you must to remind yourself where you need to be the 3rd weekend of every month! We look forward to starting our New Year off with you and are quite excited about what 2016 has in store for Seaglass Salvage Market and the awesome group of people who make it the great place that it is!

January Market:  Friday 1/15 9:00-3:00, Saturday 1/16 9:00-5:00 and Sunday 1/17 12:00-5:00
