Popping into Poplar Grove

Hard to believe September is here, never mind almost gone. The first market since all the changes was a success and as Seaglass is changing, so is the season. I love October and November simply because I love Autumn…fallthe colors, the smells and the chill in the air truly makes me happy. I don’t miss the Summer and I certainly don’t miss the heat, well, until Winter arrives anyway!

Usually, when one of our Markets are complete, we all take a little breather before jumping back into our routines to find and salvage, paint and embellish, hunt and gather new goodies for the next month, but this month is different!

Seaglass Salvage Market is very excited about our first true Pop Up Market! SSM, as a group, will be traveling to Poplar Grove Plantation and taking over their beautiful Ag Building and transforming it into Seaglass for the day! My dream of Seaglass being in a big ol’ beautiful barn will be a reality on Thursday October 1st from 2:00-7:00!

As of right now, the confirmed amount of vendors is 15 and there will be 2 trucks on site as well (A & M’s Red Food Truck and Mushpa y Mensa!) We are very excited to bring our beautiful upcycled and restyled furniture and home decor items to Poplar Grove along with the other fabulous items you see when you head to Seaglass, if you have never been to one of our markets it will be a wonderful way for you to experience what our talented vendors pull off each month!

Bring a friend, bring a truck and bring some cash…there will be some serious shopping going on and the event is CASH AND CARRY! Thursday, October 1st 2:00-7:00 at the Ag Building at Poplar Grove Plantation 10200 US Hwy 17, Wilmington, NC 28411 Please follow our FB page, as we will continue to provide updated info on the event! We will send out a reminder email on Monday September 28th, so if you are not on our email list…get on it! <——- (click here!)

Thank you so much for all the positive feedback this past weekend and we hope to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones at the Pop Up!
