And then there was one!

What a year! This past market was our Anniversary Market! Hard to believe we’ve been open a year!

As most of you know Terry, Lisa and myself started Seaglass Salvage Market together like the 3 Musketeers last August
and in May Terry and Bob started on a wonderful journey travelling cross county. Lisa and I didn’t skip a beat, she was the flip to my flop, the peanut butter to my jelly and Seaglass carried on. Well, Miss Lisa has come across a wonderful opportunity in Raleigh and this past market was her last market. I am so happy for her and wish her well on her new venture, although I will miss her terribly! I considered walking away, but…I’m not done yet. I love the idea of Seaglass, I love the people who make it amazing month after month, I love our return customers and I love seeing the smiles on the faces of our first time customers when they walk in the door.

Luckily I am part of a wonderful team outside of Seaglass and my husband knows how much this big ol’ warehouse means to me…so, here we go! Together we are going to reconfigure, redesign and tweek Seaglass to have more vendors and better flow. We work very well together and I look forward to seeing what amazing new ideas we can come up with. Now, if I wasn’t already lucky enough to have an amazing partner in life standing beside me, I also have a wonderful, talented group of vendors standing behind me…THEY make Seaglass what it is and I am so blessed to have them ready, willing and able to help us grow into something new! They push me to keep going, and help me when I am struggling AND boy do we have a ton of fun each month, there is no way I can walk away from that!

We have new spaces available, and if you have been wanting to join the Seaglass family….streetsweeperNOW is the time to do it! Contact us at SeaglassSalvageMarket@gmail.com and let’s get the ball rolling. We are emptying out EVERYTHING and starting from scratch, I will tell you this…YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS SEPTEMBERS MARKET!

See you in 5 weeks…Sept 18th, 19th and 20th (Friday & Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 12-5).
